The Language Program
The language program was created three years ago with the idea of helping outgoing exchange students to obtain a basic foundation in the language of their choice.
How it works
Winter 2026
Students are given privates classes weekly throughout each semester. Guided by a syllabus and by the help of their tutors, students will learn the basic foundations of the French language.
Beginner French Class: March 2 - March 30
Intermediate French Class: March 3 - April 7

Beginner Class
I come from a small island named Mauritius and I am currently a first-year marketing student at JMSB. I’m passionate about art and have recently been getting more into fashion.
I also enjoy learning about different cultures.
I'm excited to meet you all in my classes!
Giuliana Riverin-Cholewicki
Intermediate Class
Bilingual in French and English and based in Montreal, I’m a first-year Finance student at JMSB and a member of the John Molson International Committee. My love for languages and cultures led me to study Mandarin for 3 years, Spanish for 5 years, and Italian for a year, all inspired by my passion for travel (5 continents down, 2 to go!). I love connecting with people through language and I’m excited to help with French and meet new people along the way!
